Losing all your natural teeth can affect how you eat your favorite foods, how confidently you laugh in photos, and how your face looks in the mirror.

Complete dentures at Drift Dental are designed to bring all of that back at once. Rather than a stand-in for your old smile, they're built to fit your bite, support your facial structure, and let you feel like yourself again.

What Are Complete Dentures?

Complete dentures are custom-made appliances that replace an entire arch of missing teeth, whether that is your upper arch, lower arch, or both. They rest directly on your gums and are crafted to fit the unique shape of your mouth.

There are a few types of complete dentures available:

  • Conventional Complete Dentures – Made from acrylic resin and set into a gum-colored acrylic or flexible base. They’re placed after your gums have fully healed from any extractions.
  • Immediate Complete Dentures – Placed right after your teeth are removed, so you are never without a smile while you heal.
  • Implant-Supported Complete Dentures – Anchored to dental implants for extra stability and retention.

The best option depends on your oral health, lifestyle, and treatment goals, and we will help you find the fit that works for you.

What Is the Process for Getting Complete Dentures?

  • Measurements and Impressions – We take digital scans and impressions of your gums and jaw to design dentures that fit your mouth.
  • Fabrication and Try-in – Once your dentures are made, we adjust them for appearance, fit, and bite before you take them home.
  • Implant Placement – For implant-supported complete dentures, implants are placed in the jawbone and given a few months to heal before the denture is attached.
  • Adjustment Period – Some soreness or extra saliva is normal at first as your mouth adapts. Follow-up visits let us fine-tune the fit as needed.
