What Are Veneers?
Veneers are thin, custom-made shells that are bonded to the front surfaces of teeth. They are typically made from durable porcelain and designed to blend with the rest of your natural smile.
During your first consultation, Dr. Molina spends time learning what you love about your smile, what you'd like to change, and what kind of results you're hoping to achieve. From there, she creates a treatment plan specifically for you.
To prepare the teeth, we remove a small amount of enamel from the front surface to make room for the veneers. We then take digital impressions to create the veneers, bond them into place, and adjust them to ensure they feel as good as they look.
When Are Veneers Recommended?
Because veneers cover the visible portion of teeth, they can address many cosmetic concerns, including:
- Discoloration
- Chips
- Cracks
- Worn enamel
- Uneven tooth shapes
- Small gaps between teeth
During your consultation, Dr. Molina will evaluate your oral health, discuss your goals, and determine whether veneers are the best solution for your needs.
